Chrome blocking
Tabs return to the work.
Distracting sites are redirected only during a live session. Your study list always wins, and full browsing URLs are never stored.
Native focus for macOS
Study Block keeps the session in sight and the noise out of reach—without taking control away from you.

A quieter desktop
Study Block creates useful friction between an impulse and a distraction, while leaving the final decision with you.
Chrome blocking

Nudge ladder
Study Block starts with a reminder, offers a short allowance, then asks a distracting app to quit cooperatively. It never force-quits.
Floating timer
A compact, draggable timer floats above your workspace without stealing focus. Show it, hide it, or run open-ended.
Private streaks
See today’s focus, your weekly total, and your current streak. Your history and settings stay as local files on your Mac.
How it works
Add study sites and the apps you need. Google, ChatGPT, and Claude always remain available.
Pick 60, 90, or 120 minutes—or use an open-ended session. Optional Focus and music controls activate with it.
When the session ends, Study Block releases its timers and enforcement, restores redirected tabs, and records the session locally.
